  • Developed, launched and lead the Temasek Foundation Centre for Trade & Negotiations in Singapore in 2008
  • Primary mission: capacity building for government officials on trade topics in Asia
  • Taught modules for capacity building workshops on topics ranging from: market access for goods; rules of origin; trading in services; understanding investment chapters, negotiating over government procurement, intellectual property, environment and labor issues; trade facilitation and customs; understanding trade agreements like the Asian Economic Community (AEC), TPP, RCEP, APEC and others; global supply chains
  • Created a web of global experts to contribute to ongoing research and training activities
  • Taught graduate courses on international development and trade
