Brian G. Rogove

Brian Rogove is the Chief Executive Officer Asia for Cognita, the world’s leading K-12 private educational group. Cognita owns and operates over 60 private independent schools around the world. The Asia region is the largest and fastest growing segment of Cognita’s business, with American, Australian, British and local curriculum schools in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and China. Brian is responsible for the Group and its operations as well as M&A activity for the entire Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Cognita, Brian was a Founding Partner at Tuscan Ventures, a boutique Private Equity firm focused on growth capital investments in India & Greater Asia Pacific. Building on his years of business development and operating experience in emerging markets, Brian served on the Investment Committee at Tuscan Ventures and was responsible for deal sourcing, structuring and execution. Before launching Tuscan Ventures, Brian was Managing Director Asia for a Venture Capital backed US based start-up technology company. Having started and exited several businesses, Brian has over 16 years of experience in the Asia Pacific region and 8 years of experience as an entrepreneur. He began his career with Loctite (Henkel) Corporation.

Brian is the current Chairman of the Chicago Private Equity Network in Asia, helping to promote the common business interests of the private equity industry by creating a forum to discuss industry challenges and trends. He holds a patent for his invention which increases the efficiency of circuit board manufacturing. Brian has served on the Finance and Strategic Planning committees at the American Club in Singapore.  He has also been an active member of The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, having served on the SME, Finance and Government Affairs committees. Brian also helped lead two United States Trade Missions to Indonesia and Vietnam with the US Ambassador to Singapore, David Adelman. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Brian received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
